Hi, I’m Tommy Genovese — an audio engineer, music producer, and artist originally from Sacramento, now based in Chico, CA. I founded Wavy Bird Studios to help artists bring their sound and vision to life through high-quality, collaborative production.

As both a producer and artist, I understand the creative process from both sides of the glass. That perspective shapes the way I work — with empathy, attention to detail, and a deep respect for the vulnerability artists bring into the studio. I aim to create an environment where clients feel heard, supported, and inspired.

My work spans recording, mixing, and mastering across genres — with a focus on Hip-Hop and Pop productions. I also have experience in live sound, post-production, podcast editing and hybrid workflows.

I hold a B.A. in Music Industry & Technology from CSU Chico, with options in Recording Arts and Music Industry, as well as dual A.A. degrees in Recording Arts and Music Business from American River College. I’m also certified in Pro Tools, Dante, RedNet and more.
